Embrace the Race is a race that the goals are overarching as far as just to spread cultural awareness, especially around social injustices, promote wellness and health equity, as well as to create a unity of just bringing people together, that's the real purpose is to bring people together, all backgrounds, to help educate, spread awareness, bring truth to light, encourage us to have conversations and trust in each other so that we can actually make an impact in the communities. I started  Embrace the Race because I personally did not feel safe anymore in my community to go out and run, walk or play with my child or by myself like I used to.
